Portfolio

Designing for the web has been one of my hobbies since my family got our first computer when I was 11 and I decided the world needed yet another Harry Potter website (which eventually ended up stellmond.com!).

Here’s some of the work I’m most pleased with at the moment.

Kristine Harbek

This was my final project for my Content Management Systems class — a gallery of some of the best work of an artist friend of mine. It’s built in Drupal and the theme is one I customized based on Zen.

Krystina Alabado

This was my final project in an XHTML/CSS class. It’s a potential design for the website of a performer I adore (I previously mentioned her blog on my blog.) She’s not using this design but nonetheless I was pleased with it. It’s pretty much entirely XHTML/CSS.

Antique

This is a theme for Simple Machines Forum 2.0 RC2 based off the default “Curve” theme that I put together for the play-by-post roleplaying game Ghost Town.

Last Resort

This is a Livejournal theme based off Bloggish for a community run by some friends of mine. I’m particularly pleased with this one because I avoided any use of stock photos or textures — it’s all my (amateur) photography.

Things I Have Loved

A theme for Simple Machines Forum 2.0 RC3 based on the default theme “Curve” that I entered into a contest over at RPG-Directory (where the theme was “spring”). It was inspired by a box of marshmallow eggs — true story.

San Diego

Another theme for Simple Machines Forum 2.0 RC3 based on Curve. I wanted some more practice skinning SMF, and I wanted to submit another theme to RPG-D’s free forum theme collection just to be nice (and because their selection of themes for SMF is very lacking).

Virtual Scrapbook

This was my final assignment for my Dreamweaver class (and was built in Dreamweaver, obviously). For the concept to work well it really ought to be moved over to a CMS, but still, it was my first site in Dreamweaver and I’m proud of the header (the graphics were made from scratch in Photoshop!).
